The Milwaukee County Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) provides information on a broad range of programs and services, helps people understand the various short and long-term care options available to them, helps people apply for programs and benefits, and serves as the access point for publicly funded long-term care. We offer the following:

Information & Assistance

Accurate and timely information regarding community resources

for older adults and people with disabilities.

Benefits Specialists

Information about public and private benefits as well as help for

individuals to obtain and retain benefits.

Options Counseling

One-on-one consultation about private pay and publicly funded

long-term care options to allow each individual to make the

best-informed decisions for their needs.

Dementia Care

Support for individuals with dementia and their caregivers

including family consultations, care planning, memory screens,

and connections to community resources.

Prevention and Wellness

Wellness and prevention workshops offered throughout the

county to promote healthy living and improved well-being.

Youth Transition

Assisting students with disabilities to navigate the transition

from the children’s system to the adult service system.

Access to Community Programs

Links to valuable community programs including transportation,

nutrition, legal assistance, home services, caregiver support,

recreation, socialization and more
